How To Play the Trapped Drinking Game

This game is quite similar to the hockey card drinking game as you try to match the card previously placed.

1. Shuffle a deck of cards and deal them out to all of the players.

2. The first player places a card in the center of the table.

3. The player to their left looks in their hand of cards and places down a card with the same value as the previous card. (For example, player 1 places down the 6 of Hearts, Player 2 places down the 6 of Diamonds).

4. If Player 2 does not have a card that matches the value of the previous card, the player must drink.

5. It is now Player 3’s turn, however the rotation is reversed. Player 3 places down a card and Player 2 must put down a card that matches that card.

6. If player 2 does not have a card that matches, they must drink and it is Player 1’s turn again and the rotation is reversed. This is where the trapped aspect comes in. If a player does not have a card with the same value as the previous card, they drink and the order is reversed so that they are trapped until they have a card that is the same value as the previous card.
